Several of you have reached out to find out if I will be singing with Sutton James during his Michigan stops. I’ve given it great thought, and as of today, I have no plans to steal the limelight from my son-in-law. Several admirers from Atlantic City have asked if I would take advantage of Sutton’s arrival to resurrect my duo act that so many enjoyed during an east coast swing several years ago. I must decline as this is Sutton’s time to look for his big break. This is his tour. I’ve had mine.
Since my last appearance in Vegas a few years ago, I’ve stayed away from the stage and I believe that I should continue on that path. I know that this will be a disappointment to many, but I believe that this is a stone that is served best by leaving it unturned.
Fear not as the tour has planned a Michigan treat for you. The lovely LuLu will be joining Sutton at select venues during the summer season. LuLu has been preparing for this for several years. I know that her voice is in tip-top shape and I will be working with her regarding her “stage presence”.
LuLu will only be joining Sutton James at a limited number of venues. I am confident that you can catch her on June 30 at the Deck Down Under and July 13th at Boatwerks in Holland. The select few of you who have been invited to the “private event” in late July have already received your invitations. It’s safe to say that LuLu will be appearing at this spectacular as well. I expect that there will be other sites, but this should be enough to peak your interest.
Start piling up your $5.00 bills and clear your calendar. Please note that I have deliberately left off the starting time for each engagement. My personal advice is to arrive the day before and camp out over night so that you don’t get shut out. (You can also reach out to the venue itself if you are a gambler and are willing to risk missing the event entirely. They can let you know the time of each event.)
